Who builds dropped kerbs in Suffolk?
Once approved, you arrange an accredited contractor to book road space and build the crossing to Suffolk's specification. You're responsible for checking their qualifications and insurance; Suffolk also checks them when road space is booked.

Size and siting rules
- Parking space 2.5 m wide (3 m between walls or fences) by 5 m deep; 4.00 to 4.99 m may be considered with conditions.
- Standard access 4.58 m (5 kerbs); minimum 3.66 m.
- At least 5 m between accesses, to protect on-street parking, unless parking is restricted.
- Bound surface for the first 5 m inside your property.
